. . . And The Man Died
Reports coming through have it that veteran Nollywood actor Enebeli Elebuwa is dead. He's said to have died at an Indian hospital where he was being treated for stroke.
Efforts by organizations, well meaning organizations and even the Delta State government in the end could not save the veteran actor.
It was his voice and face that spear-headed the FG's campaign in the late '80s asking Nigerians not to go abroad, to stay at home and build the country. His nickname was Andrew, at which time you'd near the phrase, "Andrew, no check out" or "Andrew wan check out". Anyone leaving the country was then referred to as Andrew.
If Andrew had left the country, would he have still been alive?
