Next time you decide to give away your pet hamster to an adoring fan, you'd better be prepared to answer to the Hamster Association, as Justin Bieber is all too painfully aware. . . No seriously. . . there IS a HAMSTER ASSOCIATION.
The boy pop sensation gave away his pet hamster, PAC to a screaming fan, who promised to love and cherish it forever, outside of a concert earlier this month, and for that, the California Hamster Association says he might as well have chopped off the animal's head.
Speaking to TMZ, they say Bieber commited an act of "animal cruelty" when he gifted the animal away. . . even if his intentions were good.
Gosh. . . there's just no pleasing these animal rights groups. They should come over to Nigeria and see how we show love to our animals. We coo and caress them ever so lovingly. . .
. . . Just before we SHOVE THEM DOWN OUR THROATS!
The CHA goes on to say hamsters are fragile creatures that "often succumb quickly to illness and death," especially when faced with "sudden environmental change. The moment that hamster was handed off to a screaming girl in a harsh, frenzied environment was likely the moment it gazed at the short path to its doom."
Wow. . . even I am speechless.
