"Gimme All Of Your Money!"

Two boys aged 7 and 11 have been accused of trying to rob a woman at gunpoint with a loaded .22 calibre handgun.

The woman, Amy Garrett, was accosted by the boys as she waited for her parents in the family's truck in the church car park. She said they demanded cash and her phone as the younger boy told the older one to "show her your piece".

Same as you'd see in a street mugging scene, the 11 year old then lifted his shirt and showed her the weapon. Garrett said, "He said it was fully loaded and cocked and ready to go. He told me he was going to blow my brains out if I didn't give him anything," she recounted to KATU.

Even though she was very scared, she was able to refuse, driving away and calling the police as she did so. The boys were then quickly tracked down.

"Officers told the 11-year-old to keep his hands out of his pockets, but he ignored them and tried putting his hand back in his pocket," Portland police said in a statement. "Officers grabbed his arms and recovered a cocked and loaded .22 calibre handgun in his pocket."

Even though both boys will not face charges because of their young age, police are quizzing them to find out how in the world they got their hands on a gun.

America's right to bear arms, lack of parental responsibility, children's exposure to too many movies and crime. . .

It's no wonder more and more children are committing crimes these days.
