On Saturday 10th November, 2012, GREY GOOSE hosted its annual GREY GOOSE Winter Ball to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation at London's iconic landmark, Battersea Power Station. Alex Koothor, Managing Director of GDN Nigeria Limited and Nigeria's Grey Goose Ambassador, together with his Nigerian team, were on hand to add the 'Nigerian' flavour to the event.
FACT no. 1: Although HIV prevalence is much lower in Nigeria than in other African countries such as South Africa and Zambia, the size of Nigeria’s population means that by the end of 2009, there were an estimated 3.3 million people living with HIV.
FACT no. 2: Africa is home to only about 14.5% of the world's population and yet as at 2009 it was home to 69% of all people living with HIV and to 72% of all AIDS deaths.
FACT no. 3: Someone just had to do something. . .
so. . . GREY GOOSE to the rescue!
