Run For The Hills; Illupeju Is On Fire!

It's World War 3, and the battleground is Illupeju. The warriors; Okada and Policemen. . . again. Yes, they're at it again. Linda Ikeji's blog reports that an Okada man, whose picture you see above, was shot in the chest at 10.52 am this morning, while trying to escape the grappling hands of law enforcement officers on the Illupeju bypass.

On sighting the policemen, he tried to escape, but unfortunately couldn't escape the long scorching arms of the policemen's bullet. One shot tells the entire story. he was rushed by passersby to Teju hospital adjacent to where the incident happened.

I think Okada riders are pushing their luck. Agreed that they're daredevils, but when you think you can outrun a bullet, then it's time to have your head examined. Any policeman who can't reach you with his arm, will do so with his bullet.

My advice to Okada riders: Leave the restricted roads alone: Nigerians have legs; we can walk.
