Multichoice Office Goes Up In Flames

Four studios of Multichoice TV in Ojota, lagos, was yesterday razed by a fire, whose source is still yet unidentified.

The fire, which started at about 3.30pm according to eyewitnesses, destroyed all studio equipment including those of Supersports and MNET, before fire fighting personnel could arrive the scene. . .

. . . Typical.

"We watched as the fire brought particles of burning items from the Philips House", said one of the bystanders, testifying to the wildness of the fire.

It's being reported that the Super Sports studio and the MNET performance setting used in the production of some entertainment and drama programs were also consumed by the fire.

For those of us who love the television's sports channels, we hope there won't be too much of a disruption to services. In anycase, we're just glad no one was hurt in the inferno.
