Don't Be Caught Hanging!

If you're one of those who enjoy hanging on trains in the Gidi metropolis, then you're gonna love this: The Lagos State House Of Assembly has directed security officials to henceforth arrest illegal passengers and hangers on trains in the state.

Illegal passengers include those who stand on top of the coaches of the trains. The House had become worried about the growing trend, especially since the occurrence of deaths had become a thing of regularity.

The issue was discussed Monday during plenary after six of the members including Bisi Yusuf, Olumuyiwa Jimoh, Bashir Oloto, Yinka Ogundimu, Lanre Ogunyemi and Kabir Lawal, moved a motion against what they described as the unwholesome practices of some of the passengers of the train.

Ogunyemi told his colleagues that the situation now calls for concern following several avoidable deaths that have resulted from the careless attitude of some of the passengers.

If you take a trip to a train line and witness a train passing by, you'd understand where the lawnmakers are heading to:

A great massive sea of people hanging by  and on top of the trains tends to make you believe that there are more people ON the trains as there are IN them.

. . . S**t has got to stop!

We're not animals (well, some of us are. . . but that's not the point).

We need to behave like we have superior brains to other creatures on God's planet.

We queue up to board buses and Keke Marwas. . .Right?

So what's with hanging on trains like Chimpanzees?

Let's behave. . . Or else!
