It would appear that the Commandant of the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos, might face sanctions from the Presidency over the negative image the college's exposure caused to Nigeria.
It's believed that Presiednt Jonathan is stilll seething over the Channels Television filming of the decay in the college, and is looking for a major head to roll, and Yerima's head might have gotten in his cross-hairs.
Mr. Irimiya Yerima, Commandant of the Police College, Ikeja, Lagos is NOT a happy man, as the Presidency believes the only way access could've been granted to the TV crew for the filming was through his approval so. . .
. . . OFF WITH HIS HEAD!
Competent sources told Vanguard, yesterday, that Yerima had already been made to write statements to the Police High Command and the Presidency over his involvement or otherwise in the filming of the college but that the authorities were still seething with anger.
One of their sources claimed that the President was set to descend on Yerima and other officials in the police force whose indiscretion led to the uncanny exposure of Nigeria to ridicule.
