Tragedy In Ogun Claims Students' Lives

It was a sad day yesterday, when 7 students of Itori Comprehensive High School, Itori were killed in a motor accident at Ewekoro in the Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The students were kiiled when an articulated vehicle with registration number Lagos XZ 628 AKD carryinggranite swerved off its lane and rammed into the students as they were returning home from school.
The victims were 5 boys and 2 girls and they were submerged by the granite when the vehicle somersaulted.

If you think that's sad, wait till you hear this:

Following the accident, some irate students immediately embarked on a spontaneous protest, vandalizing over 50 vehicles belonging to hapless and innocent people, and disrupting traffic for hours.

When lives are lost by the negligence and carelessness of people, properties are destroyed by the ‌mindlessness and wanton destructive rage of others.

Mindless because such senseless actions cannot bring the dead back, but only adds to impoverish innocent people, and the society at large.

The family of the deceased are certainly not going to pat the protesters in the back for a job well done.
