'Tokyo' Nabbed

Alhaji Lateef Akinsola, popularly known as Tokyo, the factional leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has been captured by the Oyo State Police Command.

Tokyo had been declared wanted in connection with civil disturbances in the state and slsewhere in the South West, perpetrated by his factional arm of the NURTW. His arrest was made public in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital yesterday in a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Clement Adoda.

Now that Tokyo has been nabbed, we hope the police will step up security measures which will curb any disturbances which may arise in protest of the capture.
