It is now understood that Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who was duped into transferring the Royal Prank Call by the two Australian DJs at 2Day FM, was actually found hanged.
This was confirmed by Sky News sources, who affirmed that a suicide note was left, in which it is believed she gave some explanations for the actions that she's thought to have taken.
You'll recall that Jacintha was the 46 year old nurse who was found dead days after two Australian DJs duped staff at King Edward VII Hospital into revealing details of the Duchess's condition, after she had been admitted for acute morning sickness.
She wasn't even the nurse who gave out the details; she just transferred the call because she beleiveed she was talking to the Queen and Prince.
On this pont alone, people wonder why she even took her life.
Perhaps a pointer to some more disturbing emotional issues?
The post-mortem to establish the cause of Ms Saldanha's death began on Tuesday and has concluded, but the result will not be officially announced until a hearing at Westminster Coroner's Court on Thursday morning.
