Madiba Has A Lung Infection
News emanating from President Jacob Zuma's office in South Africa say that ailing Nelson Mandela has a lung infection, but is responding to treatment.
This is the anti-apartheid fighter's fourth day in hospital and people are getting worried, as well they should be: The man is 94 years old, and at that age, any single health complication can get nasty real quick.
The statement reads, "Doctors have concluded the tests, and these have revealed a recurrence of a previous lung infection, for which Madiba is receiving appropriate treatment and he is responding to the treatment."
We hope he recovers quickly.
Peiople like him don't come around often. God knows that in these days of youth restiveness and misdemeanor, young people all over the world need something and someone to look up to.
And there's no one better than Madiba.
