28 Political Parties Get The Axe From INEC
Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday night de-registered 28 political parties. . . this means we won't have to see them again on the political scene.
Prominent among them are Fresh Political Party, under which the grammatically gifted Pastor of the Household of God Church, Pastor Chris Okotie ran for President in three elections. There's also the People's Redemption Party and the Justice Party.
We hope that with the reduction in the number of political parties we can finally begin to see some semblance of sanity in Nigeria's politics.
