The Dis-United States Of America - Is USA Tethering On The Brink Of Disintegration?

Before long, wisecracks about the D-USA (Dis-united States Of America) may not be as ridiculous as they seem, if happenings in the good ol’ US of A is anything to go by. Following petitions by 20 states to secede from USA, President Obama may actually be the 44th and LAST president of the USA.
In a bold and outrageous move, 20 states have filed a petition to secede from the United States of America following the re-election of President Obama as president last week. This seems like something straight out of the pages of a thriller novel. Secession? From the United States? It seems strange that good ol’ Uncle Sam’s hat is gonna be split straight down the middle; just doesn’t seem right.

The 20 states looking to secede are: Louisiana, Michigan, Texas, Kentucky, Colorado, New Jersey, Montana, Missouri, North Dakota, Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, Arkansas and Oregon. The states filed the petition at We The People on WhiteHouse.gov to be granted permission to leave the union.

According to the terms of participation for “We The People” as of October 3, 2011, petitions that meet the listed criteria become searchable on WhiteHouse.gov once – and if – they reach 150 signatures within 30 days. If that is not accomplished, for President Obama to actively consider a petition, it must reach 25, 000 signatures within the remainder of the same 30 day period.

However, the White House reserves the right o change the time limit and number of signatures required.

A closer look into this rather unsavory event could reveal that the people are bored with their mundane existence and are trying to create a new record, seeing that no other president since Lincoln has spawned calls for a secession. . .  It’s looking as if some people are having a difficult time adjusting to the fact that a black man is going to remain put in the White House. . . again.

Seriously though; what’s the racket about?! Maybe they’ve had it up to their necks with Obama’s policies. . . naaah! They were already there with Bush, so it can’t be that. Maybe they just want a republican to get in there and shake things up a bit. . . naaah! Bush again: He shook things up so much that Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan and even the American people are still feeling the after-shock effects. Well, maybe its. . . . no, I give up. I keep coming round to Obama’s contrast with the White House.

They should just get over it: Obama is BLACK and he remains the 44th President of the United States of America. . . for another four years!
