NYSC Members Fight To Stay Alive

What a weird, wacky, web we weave. Just when I think the authorities can't get any stranger, they go and prove me wrong; Asides from battling stifling heat (in the north), low allowances, inappropriate training, and a dearth of reputable companies for postings, Nigerian Youth Service Corps members now have to grapple with the challenges that trying to twist like Jackie Chan has to offer. . . That ain't right!

Will martial arts skills fend of the B...H bullets - I think not!
Will martial arts skills fend off the rage an angry mob - I think not!
Will martial arts skills help make your service year memorable? Hmmmmn, it might. . . if you get into a fight!
Maybe the Federal Government is trying to distract the citizens as well as the NYSC members from all the inadequacies that the scheme throws up. Ever since Corps members started dying on a large scale, the government has been trying to distract public opinion from beaming its searchlight on the Service, and this could very well be the same ploy.

Vanguard Newspapers reports the story. . . http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/11/nysc-members-to-acquire-martial-arts-skills/
