End Of The Line For Gidi Serial Killer
A 25 year old man, Ibrahim Balogun, accused of being behind a series of serial murders in the Gidi metropolis has been nabbed by the authorities following a robbery attack.
Balogun had earlier been declared wanted by the authorities on June 25, 2012 following a gang-related violence between Shaggy Boys and Downtown Boys which left at least five people dead in Ilaje, Bariga area of Lagos State, PUNCH Metro had reported.
Known by the nickname, Small John (I wonder why), and Asarailu (which means death in Arabic), Balogun is rumoured to be the deputy gang leader of Downtown boys and a member of a sect, Eiye Confraternity also called EFCC Boys.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here; one serial killer caught does not a gang make. . . or something like that. There are a lot of serial killers, murderers, rapists and pedophiles walking the streets in white collar clothes, looking all sane and living well among us.
The police fished out one. . . the rest of the job rests squarely in our hands.
. . . Let's get 'em
